<Shall we stick together AR>은 동시대의 불안정하고, 가시가 돋아버린 존재들이 사랑하게 만들어지지 않은 공간에서 서로를 상처입힐 수 있음에도 불구하고 계속해서 사랑을 이어 나가는 몸짓에 관한 전시 프로젝트 입니다.
<Shall we stick together AR> is an exhibition project that explores the gestures of love among unstable, fragile beings who live in 'a space that is not made for love' and yet continue to love each other despite the possibility of hurting one another.
위험하고 용감한 사랑의 몸짓을 포착하고 사랑에 참여할 수 있게 하기 위해 증강현실의 ‘인식하는 행위’를 이용합니다. 작품의 마커 이미지는 언뜻 봐선 그저 랜덤하게 놓여있는 드로잉 선처럼 보이나, AR 앱을 통해 인식했을 때는 마커 이미지 앞에 3D로 제작된 불안정한 존재들이 나타납니다. 이들은 흔들리는 나뭇가지 같기도 합니다. 특정 각도에서 겨우 형체를 알아볼 수 있을 정도의 불안정함을 가진 그들은 부딪치고 서로를 보듬어주며 자신의 빈 곳을 채워가기도, 서로의 빈 공간에서 위안을 얻기도 하며, 그 과정에서 자신의 몸이 더 파괴되는 일이 있더라도 그것을 기꺼이 감수합니다. 자기 파괴적인 수행을 통해서만 이 사랑을 제대로 감각할 수 있습니다.
In this project, to capture the courageous gestures of love and enable audience participation in love, utilize "perceptive actions of AR medium." The marker images may seem like random drawings at first glance, but when recognized through an AR app, unstable beings appear in front of the marker images. They resemble swayinh branches, exhibiting a level of instability that barely allows recognition from certain angles.
To perceive the existence of those unstable beings, one must approach them, observe from various angles, they begin to move when making sounds.
